	DIPL.-INF. (FH) MARTIN BAUM Software Development Already during his studies of technical informatics at University of Applied Science TFH Berlin, Martin has developed an interest in various university-specific IT systems and topics: For example, he was involved in the development of the project EVIFA that was funded by the German Research Foundation. His theoretical and practical diploma thesis was on the subject of “A Web-Based Information-, Communication,- and Management System for Academic Self-Administration”. Furthermore, he was actively involved in university policy for five years. After his graduation, he joined the iversity founding team, contributing to the development of the platform.
	DIPL.-KFM. STEPHAN BIELEFELD Finance During his business studies, Stephan gained practical experience as an executive director of the collegiate consultancy UniClever e. V. His latest project was founding the Betahaus GmbH & Co. KG in Berlin, a successful company that rents temporary office spaces. iversity strongly benefits from his financial consultant skills.
	CHRISTINE BOLDT Student/Intern Christine studies business economics and pedagogics at Humboldt University Berlin. In the realm of economics, the focus of her work is on finance and knowledge management. In pedagogics, she concentrates on management and coordination of advanced vocational training, diagnostic competence development as well as on quality management in professional education.
	DR. MIIKA BLINN Community Management and Marketing Miika studied economics at Maastricht University, Heidelberg University, and Université Libre in Brussels. After receiving a doctorate in economics from Freie Universität Berlin he joined iversity. He focuses on establishing iversity in the academic community. iversity benefits from his research-focus on network- and information-economics and his experience as a tutor at European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) and Maastricht University.
	MIRUS FITZNER Student Employee Mirus studies Strategic Communication and Planning at Berlin University of the Arts. He worked as student assistant at the Chair for Strategic Marketing. iversity benefits from his three years of practical experience in the field of educational administration. His academic interests span from brand- and business theory, the history of marketing and advertisement to cultural communication and interfaces between economics and social science.
	DIPL.-ING. FRANK HILDERTS Finance As a business angel, Frank consults iversity in the areas of finance and controlling. He founded Hilderts Management Consulting in Berlin and consults European enterprises in the field of IT-management, IT-operation, positioning and IT strategy.
	JONAS LIEPMANN Managing Director Jonas studied cultural studies at Humboldt-University Berlin and comparative literature and theatre studies at Freie Universität Berlin. During his studies and his work as student assistant, he developed the concept of iversity. When founding iversity, he received funding from the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology’s EXIST Program. As initiator and managing director of iversity, he focuses on the conceptual development of the platform and personnel management. Apart from that, he has long-standing practical experience as an author of multimedia e-learning formats (FU, CEDIS, Multimedia Kontor GmbH). Also, he has worked in the area of marketing and development of internet-communities (yumondo.com, radioeinszueins.de, designmai.de)
	BJÖRN MÄRTIN, M.A. Public Relations Björn studied German literature, philosophy and comparative literature at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Humboldt-University Berlin and Freie Universität Berlin. In 2009, he started working on his dissertation. The focus of his studies is literature- and media theory, systems theory, epistemology and editorial science. He has been working at the manuscript department of the National Library in Berlin for three years and gained recognition for developing several digital editions and publications in this field.
	MARIANO SENNA DA COSTA, M. SC. Information Specialist Mariano graduated from journalism school in 1995. For more than one decade, he has been working as a reporter and editor of publications specialized in environmental issues. After moving from Brazil to Germany in 2003, he studied digital media sciences at University Lübeck where he graduated in 2006. In recent years, he has devoted himself almost exclusively to the development of projects in the fields of collaborative communication and alternative media. Currently, he is writing a dissertation on “possible improvements in communication among scientists and experts in forestry via collaborative platforms” at the Institute of Library and Information Science (IBI) of Humboldt-University Berlin. That makes him an ideal information management specialist for iversity.
	DR. JOHANNES PÖLZL Marketing and Strategy Johannes studied business informatics and media management and received a doctoral degree for his analysis of “Problems of communication interfaces in project situations”. For many years, he has been gaining professional experience as IT project manager and CMO, especially in new media. For iversity, he is in charge of strategy and marketing.
	DIPL.-INFORM. THOMAS KASCHWIG Technical Director/Software Development Thomas graduated in computer science at Technische Universität Berlin, focusing on operating and communication systems and distributed IT systems. Besides his commitment to iversity, he works on his dissertation at TU Berlin. During his studies he was actively involved in university policy, e.g. as a member of the faculty council and the commission for education. Since 2003, he is a member of the Berlin-based junior enterprise Company Consulting Team; there, he has worked as head of the IT section Juniter and as a project manager. Thomas has more than twelve years of practical experience in the area of web technologies. For the last ten years, he has been working as an IT consultant. His focus is on development and scaling of complex web applications. He is also one of the founders of the university evaluation platform MeinProf.de. At iversity, he is responsible for the technical development of the platform.
	FRANE BANDOV Software Development Frane has been working as a software developer and IT consultant for Juniter (www.juniter.de) in Berlin for several years now. Amongst others, he worked for Microsoft and Deutsche Telekom. Also, he was involved in the development of different German and international software projects (www.helpedia.de, www.proactiveinvestors.com.hk).

• Dipl.-Des. (Fh) Birgit Müller – Design | Birgit studied visual communication at University of Applied Science in Darmstadt. After graduation, she joined the iversity founding team as a designer. Her inspirational work for iversity contributed to the successful launch of the platform. Today, Birgit also works for a design agency in Wiesbaden.
